Welcome to our appointments!
Our healthcare specialists offer appointment services in Orton Hospital in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki and in HUS Helsinki University Hospital’s units in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
You can book an appointment either
- by using online booking (Finnish bank of mobile ID required)
- or by phone Mon-Thu 7.45-18 and Fri 7.45-16 tel. +358 9 4748 2705
Some appointments cannot be booked online. In such a case, please book your appointment by phone.
Cancelling an appointment
The appointment must be cancelled no later than the previous day (Mon-Sun) at 12 noon. Orton reserves the right to charge a full price and service fee for services cancelled too late or not cancelled at all. More information is available here.

Procedures, surgeries, cancer treatment and other medical treatments
We offer high-quality medical services performed by our highly skilled professionals.
We perform outpatient procedures either during an appointment or in a separate treatment room. The need for a medical procedure is assessed at the appointment or based on a referral from another doctor.
Surgery procedures are scheduled in advance. We primarily perform orthopedic surgeries in Orton Hospital in Ruskeasuo, whereas other surgeries are performed in HUS Helsinki University Hospital clinics.
The need for surgery is assessed during the appointment visit or based on a referral and examination results. It is always the surgeon who makes the decision on whether surgery is required. Our surgeons and other specialists are among the best in Europe and pioneers in their specific medical areas.

Inpatient services
Orton’s private inpatient ward is open also for other clients who need care, nursing and rehabilitation services. We provide safe and professional care service when you or your loved one needs temporary assistance with basic daily activities in a safe and controlled environment.

Payment and invoicing
In Orton Hospital at Tenholantie, services are paid at the cashier (1st floor). Services performed in HUS Helsinki University Hospital units are either invoiced in advance or afterwards.
Means of payment
Debit and credit cards (VisaElectron, Visa, Mastercard) are accepted as means of payment.
It is likely that there will be disruptions and malfunctions in payment cards issued in Russia.
Unfortunately we do not accept foreign cash payments nor do we accept cheques.
When a customer pays an invoice from a foreign bank by bank transfer, we recommend that the customer checks in advance the effects of the applicable sanctions legislation on payment transactions:
